Jennifer Howard

Chair

Jennifer Collins is now the acting Chair and president for The Arts Collective (TAC) as of 2017. She started with TAC as a volunteer curator and is an emerging artist from Southwestern Ontario. Her work includes a variety of acrylic paintings on canvas, oil paintings on wood, conte, lead, graphite drawings, digital works, and water colours. She attended Western-Fanshawe’s BScN Nursing Program where she was also able to study fine arts and art history. She is currently working as a Registered Nurse and studying for her PhD through Western University with a focus on arts based teaching, learning, interventions, and research methods. Jennifer has been previously featured in Sarnia’s First Friday Artists showcases and the London Art’s Project annual Visual Fringe. She has previous experience as the acting Art Director for Lachie Music Festival. Her work has been featured throughout Southwestern Ontario, including a variety of mediums, such as digital formats for various advertisements and social media outlets. Philip Kim

Senior Financial Analyst

 

Philip believes that social innovation and creativity are essential to community development. As a corporate finance professional with experience in the information technology, automotive, and health industries, he brings a diverse range of skill sets to TAC. As a board member, Philip contributes to the organization's financial management and sustainability. 

Philip studied business at Western University, and he is currently a Financial Analyst at Goodlife Fitness.

Claire Kennedy

Co-Chair and Art Curator

 

Claire Kennedy, is Co-Chair and art curator. She is an artist and teacher in Lambton County. She majored in Art History at Queen's University, and received her teaching degree, specializing in Visual Arts, at the University of Windsor. She volunteers with Y.O.U in London, Ontario. She works as an Elementary Occasional teacher for the Lambton Kent District School Board. She also volunteers for Bluewater Centre for Raptor Rehabilitation, which cares for injured and displaced Birds of Prey. She helps with the educational demonstrations, as well as marketing and fundraiser events.
